Quickly Shut down Windows 2000:

Hold down ATL, CTRL and DEL keys simultaneously (Windows Security Dialog Box appears)

Select Shut Down…

You will be taken to the Logon Options Menu to confirm shut down.  Note: make sure you have closed down all program and have saved your data before shutting down.
